How Dish Wheel handles names, links, and third parties.

Dish Wheel is a client-side tool for assigning who brings which dish at a shared meal. It is a planning utility — not a lottery or betting service.

Names stay in the browser for the spin. There is no account and no server-side guest list. We do not sell personal data.

Share links carry assignment state in the URL hash. Core flow does not depend on localStorage; the hash is how a shared meal list travels. Do not share the link if you want the list to stay only on your device.

Hosting is on Cloudflare. Ordinary request handling and hosting policies apply.
